Arjun Kapoor is one of the most promising actors from the current generation in Bollywood. And in his next film, Mubarakan, the shooting for which is currently on in Chandigarh, the actor will be essaying a double role for the second time in his career, after Aurangzeb (2013).
However, even though the film is now on floors, there’s been some trouble for the film’s casting.
Earlier, Amrita Singh (who played Arjun’s mother in 2 States) was all set to play his mother in the movie. However, due to some last minute issues, she backed out of the movie. And now, Ratna Pathak Shah will be seen essaying this role.
To report the said story, Amar Ujala, chose a rather insensitive headline.

The headline says, “So this is why Arjun Kapoor’s mother left him”.
This was rather insensitive on the publication’s part considering Arjun’s mother passed away a few years ago. It was quite distasteful in nature and the actor even tweeted the same.
The publication has since taken the story down.
