The Supreme Court’s recognition of the fundamental right to privacy has been a landmark judgement, and it’s really brought the conversation about the safety of our personal information to the forefront. One of the many areas of contention regarding this safety is cyber-security, and the threat of hackers.
Chase went into the belly of this cyber-beast, and their interview with an unnamed hacker revealed an almost immeasurable number of weaknesses in most of our computers and the way we use the internet. Cover your laptop webcam with tape, that’s the first step. There’s a lot more that you need to do in order to be safe from the menace of online hackers though. Hackers can easily get access to all kinds of personal information, something that’s pretty damn freaky if you ask me. I mean, I’ve got some shit on my computer that’s kinda… weird without the right context.
