After winning the semi-finals, Sindhu mentioned,
I am happy but not satisfied yet. There is one more match to go, definitely I would want to get gold. But it is not easy. I have been playing with both of them (Ratchanok and Okuhara). I think anybody is fine, you know anything can happen right. I just need to focus on myself, go back tomorrow and give my best.

Sindhu, has already bagged four medals in the World Championships i.e. two silver medals in 2017 and 2018 and 2 bronze medals in 2013 and 2014.

Congratulations poured in on Twitter as India celebrated her win.
