Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma is all set to buy a swanky residential property worth Rs 82 crore in Lutyens’s Delhi.
According to Economic Times, Sharma is purchasing a bungalow in one of Delhi’s most expensive areas, Golf Links. Sharma currently resides in Delhi’s Greater Kailash area.
Sharma is reported to have paid some amount after signing a MoU with the owners, but the deal is yet to be registered, reports Hindustan Times.
Once Sharma moves in the area, he will have Dabur’s VC Burman as his neighbor.
Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sharma were the only two Indians to make it to an annual list of ‘100 most influential people in the world’ this year released by the Time magazine in April.
For 43-year-old Sharma, Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani wrote that when India’s government unexpectedly scrapped 86 per cent of the country’s currency notes in November, Sharma “seized the moment.”
