Amidst the escalated cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, air and road traffic in Kashmir continues to remain disrupted.
In this time of crisis, hotels in Kashmir are offering free accommodation to stranded tourists.
According to a report by TOI, the Jammu & Kashmir Hoteliers’ Club has asked all the hotels in the valley to take care of the outsiders.
The hotel bodies are making sure that tourists do not feel threatened amid the current situation.
The Facebook page of Hotel Kaiser put out a post in this regard.
Talking to Inuth, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Chairman of The Kaisar Hotel said:
I want to bring out the right message. This is the idea of Kashmiriyat.
People are appreciating this goodwill gesture by the hotel owners.
