Roller coaster rides are fun. However, have you ever wondered about the possibility of having food served to you after it had travelled along a roller coaster before reaching the dining table?
There is an eatery called the Rollercoaster Restaurant at the Alton Towers theme park in England. As its name suggests, the food at this restaurant is served via mini steel roller coasters.
Opened in May 2016, the restaurant has already turned into a dining sensation because of its unusual serving style.
The restaurant is set below a vast network of roller coaster tracks which spirals from the ceiling to the floor. As soon as the guests place their orders, the food gets delivered to them right on the table via a 26-foot roller coaster with two gravity-defying loop-the-loops. How exciting is that?
Here, the dishes arrive in a metal container secured with straps to a miniature carriage. However, the drinks arrive in bottles and tea and coffee are served the regular way.
