This is Rhaegar Targaryen.
And this is Viserys ‘Douche-Bro’ Targaryen.
Your last memory of Viserys might be of him getting his noggin boiled by molten gold courtesy Khal Drogo, but before all the burny burny, he actually looked a lot like Rhaegar. They look ridiculously similar. Like… pretty much exactly the same. The similarities actually extend way beyond regular Targaryen features too. Now we’re not sure whether this was done on purpose for a reason they’ll tell us in the future or if it was just happenstance, but the people of the internet didn’t exactly sleep on this information.
So am I crazy or did they seriously get the same guy who played Viserys to play Rhaegar?! #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/nEhKBpNcsZ

Rhaegar from the books – handsome Dragon prince
Rhaegar in the show – Viserys but slightly less creepy#GameOfThrones #GameOfThronesFinale pic.twitter.com/lQFpsjGbeK— Lomas Longstrider (@Aiteall) August 28, 2017
But seriously. Rhaegar and Viserys went to the same salon. #GoTS7

Why do Viserys and Rhaegar look exactly the same? Is it the same actor?Or some coming plot twist? Very confusing #GameOfThrones #GOTS7Finale

…
The guy who played Rhaegar is actually a Welsh actor named Wilf Scolding, and this is what he looks like without the signature golden Targaryen mane.
That’s quite a change! It was pretty satisfying to put a face to the name after all these years, though it’s unsure whether we’ll be seeing more of him in the future. I guess we’ll have to wait till 2019 to see. *cries in the corner*
