The year 2016 has had a wonderful start with animated films.
Coming month, we’re about to be treated to another cool film, The Angry Birds Movie, where Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in Game Of Thrones, is going to do the voice of The Mighty Eagle character.

He, is a mysterious giant anthropomorphic Bald Eagle who is idolized by the birds of Bird Island. None of the characters have ever seen him in real life, but they know some secrets up his feathers. “My favourite part about the film is the slapstick comedy, it’s such a break from the slapstick drama I’ve been doing lately,” said Peter Dinklage.
Dinklage has previously acted in popular films, like The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Death At A Funeral, Elf and Penelope to name a few.
However ever since Game of Thrones became a hit on television screens, it was the portrayal of Tyrion Lannister by actor Peter Dinklage that had everyone talking. He was looking forward to taking a break from his dramatic portrayals and find some ‘comic relief’ in his professional career. Apparently getting a chance to do comedy is his favourite part about the upcoming Angry Birds movie.
“Mighty Eagle likes to talk, talk and talk about himself. He has a mighty Ego. There’s a huge group of hilarious comedians starring in the movie, like the most number of funny people ever together in one movie. I had such a blast upstaging all of them. My favourite part about the film is the slapstick comedy, it’s such a break from the slapstick drama I’ve been doing lately,” said the Golden Globe awardee, Dinklage.
Other star cast of the movie includes Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses), Josh Gad (Pixels, Frozen), Danny McBride (Due Date, This is the End) and Maya Rudolph (Grown Ups, Bridesmaids).
The film will release in India on May 27th in English, Hindi and Tamil and will be available in 3D.
