With the release of Captain Marvel, the superhero was welcomed by all, enthusiastically so. Captain Marvel happens to be the first female superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And we are totally here for it!
It so turns out, that we are not alone. The first female superhero of the DCEU, Wonder Woman, AKA, Gal Gadot is all for it too.
While both studios are in competition, these two ladies rose above it all and came out in full support of each other.
Taking to social media, Gal Gadot shared an adorable animated version of the two strong female characters, all in support for Captain Marvel’s great debut.
I’m so happy for you sister! Congrats!
Captain Marvel collected about $455 million worldwide in its opening weekend and almost ₹50 crore in India. Whereas, Warner Bros, Wonder Woman made about $230 million in its opening weekend worldwide.
The artist, who goes by the name, Maxy Artwork, was pleased and expressed gratitude saying,
I can’t put into words how incredibly happy I am, not only for it being my art, but for them supporting each other. I make this kind of art to bring women together and show how important female leads are for us.
Adding on to the artwork, here is how netizens reacted.
