This week, the universe gifted us with a small yet significant Avengers: Endgame gold nugget in the form of the Super Bowl teaser.
And while fans are finding it hard to contain their excitement, some are going into speculation overdrive about a few ‘oddly composed’ trailer shots.
One such shot has Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, James Rhodes, and a giant gaping blank space at the cinematic sweet spot according to the rule of thirds.
Keeping in mind a similar shot Marvel manipulated in the Infinity War trailer, there may be more to the visual anomaly.
- Infinity War trailer shot with the Hulk:
- Shot in the film with the Hulkbuster.
- Trailer shot of Thanos with just two Infinity stones.
- Shot in the film with five Infinity stones.
And eagle-eyed fans are asking, could this be the upcoming addition to the MCU, Captain Marvel?

According to fans, another shot towards the end seems somewhat incomplete.

Doesn’t the awkward spacing between heroes in the #AvengersEndgame teaser make it look like someone was digitally removed? Someone like… Captain Marvel pic.twitter.com/3m2cQWpiML

We’ll only know when Avengers: Endgame hits theatres in April. Until then, speculators assemble!
