Based on Bilal Siddiqi’s book of the same name, Emraan Hashmi’s Bard of Blood has arrived on Netflix. Emraan portrays the role of a spy in this series and it also features Shobhita Dhulipala (of Made in Heaven fame)
So, if you’re confused about binging this show over the weekend, here’s what the janta thinks.
I started watching #BardOfBlood and ended up watching all the seven episodes at one go. The narrative is very engaging.

The production values are world class and Chirantan Das’s Cinematography is simply spectacular.
Watched 2 episodes on the big screen- can’t wait to watch the others on #Netflix – because like @iamsrk said everything in #BardOfBlood is Netflix! Congratulations to ‘Netflix’ and the team at @RedChilliesEnt and the creator @BilalS158 !

#BardOfBlood finished with the 3rd episode, background score is good , suspense is good but the execution is poor, action scenes are not up to mark. I rate it 2/5.

#BardOfBlood Episode 3 now. I am glued. Cant get up without completing the entire season. The story is super catchy & drives to wonder what happens next…..Emraan Hashmi at his best…and the technologies used…for the actions scenes are brilliant! Those explosions…wow!

I didn’t like Netflix’s #BardOfBlood at all. Poorly written, outdated, and apolitical (despite being set in Balochistan!), it borrows the worst, most unambitious and non-confrontational aspects of mainstream Hindi cinema.

#BardOfBlood succeeds in showing us the human side of spies. It exposes their follies, weaknesses, and impulses. That they are truly capable of loving someone and worthy of being loved. Read my detailed review at:https://t.co/juzDlghTET pic.twitter.com/pSTva9beyl
