1. Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir

This is a 200km valley of thick green forests, streams, rivers and stunning mountains. It’s one of those places where you can just stare off into the distance for hours on end, watching the water flow and the sun set.

2. Deosai National Park

The Deosai Plains are a surreal area located 4000 meters above sea level on the boundary of Karakoram and the western Himalayas. Here, you’ll also find the Deosai Plateau, the highest plateau in the world, as well as the Sheosar Lake. Suffice to say,the whole place is immensely beautiful.

3. Siri Paye Meadows

The meadows in Shogran are a teeming hib of natural beauty. There’s numerous ponds, people riding around on horseback and lush greens abound. There’s flowers everywhere and the weather is perfect, just make sure to avoid the crowds.

4. Ghanche District, Gilgit–Baltistan

The Ghanche District is an area of beatiful rivers, valleys and plains as far as the eye can see. There’s waterfalls around the corners and a great view of the peak of Mashabrum mountain. This is the coldest place in Pakistan with temperatures reaching below −20 degrees in the winter.

5. Rama Meadow

This surreal area that’s around 11kms ahead of Astore is as close as you can get to a picture perfect meadow. There’s pine trees, cold streams and barely anyone around for miles. It’s serene.

6. Naltar Valley

Naltar Valley is located near Gilgit and is only approachable by jeep, and is famous for its forests and lakes. It is also very well known for the potatoes that are cultivated here. The whole place is otherworldly and magical. Just look at these pictures!

7. Gojal

This is a place rich in culture and heritage. It is a series of small and large valleys that borders China and Afghanistan. You’ll find unbelievably blue rivers, lakes and even glaciers (Ghulkin Village in Upper Hunza).

8. Swat District

Swat Valley is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. It is the upper valley of the Swat River, which rises in the Hindu Kush range, and is known as the Switzerland of Pakistan. It’s an incredible place full of forests, rivers and ski resorts.

9. Shandur Pas

Shandur Top located in Ghizer District in Pakistan, and is frequently called one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The top is a flat surreal looking plateau. It is home to the Highest Polo Ground On Earth, about 3738 meters above sea level.

10. Jhelum Valley

Apparently a place where you feel ‘closer to heaven’, Jhelum Valley is located in Hattian Bala District of Azad Kashmir. Surrounded by lush green mountains and going along with the magnificent Jhelum River, it’s quite a sight to behold.
