It’s no secret that as soon a girl enters a guy’s life, his guy friends take a back seat. Suddenly, drinking endless rounds of beer and watching a match are no longer a priority. All of a sudden, your best friend has no time for you.
So when Keiran Cable thought that he could just get into a relationship and escape from his chuddy-buddies, he was wrong.
Apparently, his friends had plans of their own.
According to a report by Wales Online , soon after he stopped going out with them, Keiran’s friends decided to organize a mock funeral for him, replete with a coffin, a funeral car, order of service leaflets and a vicar.
All the friends play football for a local club in Treorchy, Wales.
One of the friends quipped that they felt as if Kieran had died ever since he’d gotten into a relationship since none of them had seen him ever since.
Hence, the funeral.
All the friends called Keiran on the pretext of watching a rugby game in a pub. And as soon as he reached the pub, the drama unfolded.
“It was so hard to keep it a secret!” said a friend.
All the friends divided the duties amongst themselves. While one became the vicar, the other wrote a song in Keiran’s memory.
Another friend rented a funeral car.
The boys also said heartfelt speeches in Keiran’s ‘memory’.
