Over the years, Sujata Kumar – whose versatility as an actor is hard to match – had appeared in various commercials, TV shows, and movies, though English Vinglish remains one of her most popular roles.

A prominent TV personality, she appeared in shows like Anil Kapoor’s 24 and Hotel Kingston, and in movies like Raanjhana, Guzaarish.

According to Spotboye, Sujata was a cancer survivor, as she had admitted during her 2012 interviews for English Vinglish.
However, the disease resurfaced and she sadly, lost the battle this time.
