Chris Gayle is undoubtedly the most destructive batsman that T20 Cricket has witnessed and the Calypso King achieved yet another landmark as he hit his 500 th six in the shortest format recently.

The 35-year-old assassin did the unthinkable in the washed-out match against Rajasthan Royals on April 29 when he lifted Tim Southee straight over his head for a mighty six.

Gayle is obviously leading the charts with his countryman, Kieron Pollard, ranked second with 348 maximums. The difference between No. 1 and No. 2 best explains the difference between Gayle and rest of the world.

The brutal left-hander is the leading six-hitter in IPL too with over 200 strikes and it’s safe to say that when Gayle hits them… they stay hit!
