It seemed like harmless marketing when Sania Mirza said she was using a OnePlus 3T phone through a promoted tweet. 

However, there was one issue. She claimed she was using a OnePlus 3T for a few months – and the tweet was sent using her iPhone.

And while she quickly deleted the tweet, people had taken screenshots. 

Well Twitter can be pretty unforgiving. As for Sania and her OnePlus deal, we wonder whether that’s still on.
