Sourav Ganguly isn’t just another cricketer, he is an icon people still have emotions attached with.
Emotions like fearlessness and unmatched love for cricket and the country. And the legend recognises that.

In the sweetest gesture, Sourav Ganguly went for his appointment as the BCCI president, wearing the jacket he was apparently given when he was made Indian captain in 2000.
Touching the shirt, as if to remove dirt, he told the press that he decided to wear the blazer because he thought that it was perfect for the occasion. Also that he didn’t realise it had become so loose.
#WATCH Sourav Ganguly while addressing media after taking charge as the President of Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in Mumbai: I got this (blazer) when I was the Captain of India. So, I decided to wear it today. But, I didn’t realize it’s so loose. pic.twitter.com/FgwYmfsyO8

Sourav Ganguly wearing his Team India blazer from 2003 WC at his first press conference as the #BCCI chief. This man is on a mission.

If you had any doubts on how @SGanguly99 will run the BCCI, his first answer from the press conference should set the tone: “I am wearing the same blazer that I wore on my first day as India captain.”
