Yes, Shrimaan Shrimati is coming back as Shrimaan Shrimati Phir se with a whole new cast!
First aired in 1994 on Doordarshan, Shrimaan Shrimati gave us genuine laughter thanks to its expertly-written dialogues and exceptional performances by the entire cast.
Now, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, director Rajan Waghdare has confirmed that they aim to retain the original plotline, of loving thy neighbor, but with a new cast.
The original star cast was led by the Archana Puran Singh, Late Reema Lagoo, Late Jatin Kanakia and Rakesh Bedi.
The new star cast features Barkha Bisht as Prema Shalini, Suresh Menon as Dilruba, Samir Shah as Keshav Kulkarni and Sucheta Khanna as Kokila Kulkarni.
The popular show, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain too has many similarities to this classic, so it will be all the more interesting to see how Shrimaan Shrimati Phir se sets itself apart.
