Love him or hate him, you have to concede that Dr. Shashi Tharoor, who also happens to be a very vocal member of the Indian National Congress, is great at public speaking. Last July, he absolutely nailed it when he addressed the crowd during the Oxford Union debate and explained why Britain owes India.
This time, he was the keynote speaker (The Soft Power of India) in a recent event hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School. Everything was going well, when suddenly at 48:08 minutes into the speech, a man in the audience asked him –
You are a member of Indian National Congress, and given today the kind of image Congress has in India, do you have any opinion or views to improve its image?
