The ever so charming and one of the finest actors in the industry, Shashi Kapoor, has passed away. He was 79.
The veteran who has appeared in over 160 movies, in a career spanning decades, breathed his last today at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

With his charm, smile and brilliant acting prowess, Mr. Kapoor lit up the silver screen for decades. His passing is a huge loss to the world of cinema. The Kabhie Kabhie actor received the Padma Bhushan in 2011.

Mr. Kapoor had been keeping unwell for a while. The actor had been admitted to the hospital on Sunday night. The hospital said that he died at 5.20 pm.
