We’ve all seen the famous “#FollowMeTo” series on Instagram that created the world-over fad, and saw the creator of the series ‘follow’ his wife around the world. Recently, photographer and creator of the photo series, Murad Osmann, revealed a behind-the-scenes compilation of him and his wife, Natalia Zakharova, travel across India and how they came up with the series.

Check out the process behind the #FollowMeTo series, revealed.

The #FollowMeTo Instagram posts went viral back in 2013, sparking a trend across the world.

In his words, Murad Osmann told the The Daily Mail UK, “Nataly was a bit annoyed that I was always taking pictures of everything, so she grabbed my hand and tried to pull me forward.” That as you can imagine sparked the first photograph of the series while they were in Barcelona.

The duo’s international travel exploits were the talk of Instagram.

After Spain, Italy, France, Florida and a number of places that you could imagine heading over to, the #FollowMeTo series gained followers one after the other. “It might seem that I have a lot of free time, but we actually travel mostly for three to four days abroad, due to me being always busy at work. The photos were initially taken with an iPhone and corrected in a camera app. Now, I use photo equipment that I have at the time, and I try to do less retouching than before,” Osmann told The Daily Mail UK.
