The Vampire Diaries – a TV series that showed us the million colours of a single emotion, love. Heartbreak, grief, moving on, getting hooked, being hopelessly smitten, being selfish or selfless in love – it had it all.

Damon with his baddie charm and snarky dialogues flirted with our hearts right. Stefan, the do-gooder had us roped in with his gentlemanly virtues. Elena, Matt, Tyler, Jeremy, Enzo, Klaus – loved with passion unfathomable. And all the different love story pathways flooded our hearts with jolly and tragic hues of love. 

Here’s to revisiting some of the signature quotes, after almost a year of its last episode release. Sighs.
