For the Nationalist Congress Party leader Chhagan Bhujbal, life has taken a turn for the worse ever since he was arrested in a money laundering case, which allegedly caused a loss of Rs 870 crore to the exchequer.
A month after the arrest, a photo of the former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister has leaked on social media and gone viral.
The picture shows a visibly weak and frail Bhujbal in a full-grown white beard, sitting on a wheelchair. According to a report by India Today, he has lost some 10 kgs since his arrest in March.
This photo was taken at St George’s Hospital in Mumbai where he went for a CT Scan. Interestingly, his visit to the hospital itself is a matter of huge controversy because he landed there for chest pain even when he had complained about tooth pain when in jail.
