It was an awkward moment for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday, when the crowd that he was addressing started chanting ‘Modi, Modi’ in the middle of his speech.

As soon as Nitish Kumar welcomed and thanked the Prime Minister for taking out the time to attend the event, shouts of ‘Modi, Modi’ began from the crowd and drowned out the Bihar Chief Ministers voice.
PM Modi then got up from his chair, went up to the end of the dias and gestured to the crowd to calm down.

After the Bihar Chief Minister concluded his speech, the two leaders smiled and indulged in a friendly chat with each other, reports ANI.
Earlier on Saturday, PM Modi had arrived in Patna, marking his first visit to Bihar after his party’s debacle in the state elections in November 2015.
