Indian Test Cricket captain Virat Kohli has bought a 5-BHK flat in Mumbai measuring around 7,000 sq-ft for Rs 34 crore, reports Economic Times.
The luxury pad is part of real estate developer Omkar Realtors & Developers’ residential project, named ‘Omkar 1973’.
The sea-view flat is part of the ‘Sky Bungalows’ constructed in the complex and is on the 35th floor located at tower C, the most lavish of total three towers in the project. The complex is located in Worli, a posh locality in south Mumbai.
The apartment will be a bare-shell one, which means that initially Kohli will be handed over just four walls which he can later customise it according to his taste, reports Mid-Day.
“It’s like a playground and the owner can make anything inside. One can have any size of bedroom to a king size hall, or a study,” said a source from the builder’s office speaking to Mid-Day.
The flat will reportedly be delivered to the flamboyant right-handed batsman by mid-2018.
An apartment on the 29th floor in the same tower was also bought by Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh in 2014, reports Economic Times.
Last year, Virat and his ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma were spotted leaving the builder’s office raising speculation that they were planning to live together, reports News18.
