Goa’s government took down two of their websites after being alerted that hyperlinks posted on the websites redirected visitors to porn portals.
The state education department’s website and Directorate of Official Languages’ portal were taken down, says an official.
Apparently, officials received multiple complaints that Aadhaar card-related sub-links on those websites were redirecting visitors to pornographic portals and images.

It has been found that official websites of Government of Goa directly links to a fake #Aadhaar site hosting porn. Both the websites are managed by an obscure company Terasoft Technologies HQ in Ahmedabad with branches in Delhi and Belgium. Cc @fs0c131yhttps://t.co/DgKCrJJlGd

The state authorities were also notified about this issue by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi.
We are investigating how and why these IP addresses redirected visitors to pornographic websites. We will find the root cause within two to three days.
