A 16-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar has filed a police complaint, alleging that four youth gang-raped her for 10 days after keeping her in captivity and forced her to eat meat. They even pressurized her to change her religion.
“The girl has filed an FIR against four youth-Akram, Aslam, Ayyub and Salim-for gang-raping for about 10 days,” Mohammad Rizwan, circle officer in Bhopa told Hindustan Times.
The girl in her complaint alleged that the four drugged her due to which her body and brain stopped working. She also said that after consuming meat she fell sick, reported Navbharat Times.
“According to the complaint, the girl was picked up by four persons and taken to a secluded place where they raped her for days. The victim was then left by the accused near her village,” police told PTI.
Circle Officer Mohammed Rizwan told PTI that an FIR has been registered against the four in the case, adding that efforts are on to trace the absconding accused.
