At the just concluded Jaipur Literature Festival (January from 21 to 25), an online campaign by a sponsor didn’t go exactly as planned. It happened after Rajnigandha Pan Masala, the official sponsor of the fest, started an Twitter contest and asked people to tweet short stories using the hashtag #RajnigandhaSixWordsStory
The idea, said the brand, was that ‘Brevity is the soul of wit’ and six-word stories are perfect example of that famous proverb.
But little did they know what was in store for them:
