Musician Amanda Palmer and graphic novelist Neil Gaiman’s love for each other has as big a fan following as their cult works. Everyone loves to love those two. And, now, Indians have another reason to fall crazily-head-over-heels in love with the lovelies.
There’s a teeny weeny chance that Palmer might have convinced Gaiman to write a screenplay for a Bollywood movie. And guess who wants to star in it!
i would want @shrutihaasan in it… https://t.co/dlH03na3Sc

The declaration came from a conversation on Twitter between Amanda Palmer and a fan:
@amandapalmer in a world where Amanda supports trump; Neil will write Bollywood musicals. #willneverhappen
— John Broody (@jbroody) January 31, 2016
I bet you $50 neil would write a Bollywood musical if they made an offer. he’s predictable that way. https://t.co/V1uoXY3bCp

Of course, Twitter just couldn’t cope!

@neilhimself can someone just make a kick starter for this already, cause I’ll totally give 10 bucks towards any Neil Gaiman musical.

@neilhimself Indian mythology has a lot of fodder for dark tales like American Gods. Would love to see an adaptation sometime

Other recommendations kept pouring in:
@neilhimself @shrutihaasan I respectfully recommend @aamir_khan; he was amazing in #Lagaan and has a curious resemblance to Eminem
— Laurence O’Keefe (@LarryIsOKeefe) February 1, 2016
@neilhimself @shrutihaasan @amandapalmer hire @iamsrk and he could get you anyone and EVERYONE to be in it. He’s magic like that tbh.

@neilhimself @amandapalmer @shrutihaasan and what about @BrettLee_58 ? He’s quite the star in India

But Palmer had the best response:
if this becomes real whoever tweeted that tweet gets free sushi for life 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣 https://t.co/Mg09J7zSNV

Will it be a musical? Will it be a science fiction thriller? We don’t really care as long as it actually happens!
