New Delhi: Last year, a proposal seeking hike in monthly salary of President of India was moved by the Home Ministry. However, there has been no word from the Prime Minister’s Office since last six months.  

According to the proposal, the President’s salary will be increased from current Rs 1.5 lakh a month to Rs 5 lakh per month. 

However, being the head of the state, a president, besides his salary, is entitled to a number of facilities and entitlements. ScoopWhoop News compiled the list of facilities and perks a President of India gets.
