Host of the Patriot Act on Netflix, Hasan Minhaj was reportedly not allowed to enter the venue where the ‘Howdy Modi’ event took place.
But reports state that the political commentator was not allowed to enter the premises due to apparent ‘issues’ with his credentials.
A video of him is also doing rounds on social media where he is seen talking to the media coordinator from the press registration desk on a phone.
An Islamophobic attack on press in 3 acts: Muslim journalist and @patriotact host @hasanminhaj was denied access at Tump/Modi event. Event producers cite lack of credentials (despite credentials set for him), cite lack of space for broadcast (press pool & camera risers 1/2 empty) pic.twitter.com/4mvjwLrFGy

Minhaj is yet to respond to these reports.
Earlier this year, Minhaj had faced some unwarranted heat on social media for his episodes on the Indian elections and the Kashmir situation after the abrogation of Article 370.
