A few months ago, Anand Mahindra shared a picture of a meeting room during the KCMET scholarship selections on Twitter.
The K.C.M.E.T scholarship selections are amongst the most energising engagements in my calendar. The incredible intelligence & self-belief displayed by these youngsters is staggering. All concerns about the future are shoved aside by the optimism these young people inspire pic.twitter.com/WYUd2IHwwU

Plastic water bottles were clearly visible in the meeting room and some Twitter users pointed this out. They suggested that he use eco-friendly alternatives like metal or clay.
I think the board room should have Steel Bottle instead of Plastic bottle.. Just an observation sir 😊

It seems that the business tycoon has taken these suggestions seriously.
Recently he shared a picture of reusable steel and copper bottles and wrote that they will be used in the meeting rooms at the Mahindra Group.
Our in-house ‘Mahindra retail synergies group’ has come up with these re-fillable bottles to replace plastic bottles In our meeting rooms entirely. Functional but also aesthetic, I think.. Dhanyavaad Team! pic.twitter.com/C0M2DUgchA

People lauded him for taking this initiative towards ending the use of single-use plastic.
Good initiative. I would suggest to adopt copper or mud bottles.

We hope that other corporate groups also come up with this kind of decision to reduce the use of single-use plastic as much as possible.
