A lot of us completely overlook the fact that sexism also affects men just as much as it hits women in the society. Some would argue that men don’t have to suffer at the hands of sexism the same way women do. But is that really true? We have all seen guys being asked to vacate seats, carry heavy loads, and in general “toughen up” because that’s what men are supposed to do.
Read on to find out some highly sexist quotes about men, that are complete and utter bullshit.
1. Boys don’t cry.
Embracing emotions and coming to terms with bad things in life is not meant for them. Instead, boys are expected to swallow their rage and sorrows and present a tough facade to the world. Of course, when they do, we readily dish out comment number two.
2. Men can’t handle emotions.
Believe it or not, men actually go through the entire range of emotions – and probably a little better than you do.
3. Men think through their penises.
No, they don’t. In fact, you’d be surprised to know that a whole lot of them are actually working hard to make the world a better place for us.
4. All men love sports.
Oh yes! Just like all women love shopping. Right?
5. The Holy Trinity in a man’s life: Beer, Porn and Action movies.
You can’t reduce a person to three simple things. It’s unfair to a woman, and it’s unfair to a man.
6. The way to a man’s heart goes through his stomach. And sometimes a few inches lower.
Firstly, doesn’t everyone love good food? Secondly, I’m sure if you looked hard enough, you’ll find a lot of other ways to win his heart. Simpler ways.
7. Men like women in only two places: either the kitchen, or the bed.

8. Boys will be boys!
So apparently, boys never grow up, never stop thinking about casual sex, and are total commitment-phobes who can’t rise up to the responsibility of a family. Ahem, fathers? Plus, how is it that the same boys are always expected to make the first move in a relationship, all the way up to the proposal for marriage?
9. Men. Pink. Gay.
Because straight men are insensitive, violence loving “boys” and “gay” is just a word for guys acting girly , right? Stupid!
10. Women get raped. Men rape.
Statistics show 40% of the victims of domestic abuse are men . Studies have shown that child abuse is at least 10% higher among boys than girls. What does that tell you?
11. Mard ko kabhi dard nahi hota.
Because men don’t feel pain, fatigue, stress, emotions and other assorted things that are perfectly normal among living beings.
12. Real men wear the pants in the house.
No. Real men know women wear pants too.
13. Men in the kitchen? Disaster!
Every single person who has ever stepped out of the house and craved for chai , or omlettes, or chaat , or food in a fancy restaurant knows otherwise.
