India has been popular for its cuisine and rich food all over the world. In fact, street food items like gol gappas are sold in the USA by the name water balls. The world might have seen what the mainstream Indian dishes are, but Lulu’s Tribal Kitchen is making the world taste Indian cuisine that a lot of people are not familiar with.
Started by Lulu Pheiga, who hails from Manipur and belongs to the Rongmei Naga tribe, ‘Lulu’s Tribal Kitchen’ offers authentic tribal dishes in the streets of Belgium.
The food truck is gaining popularity by the day. Although there happens to be a sizeable amount of Indians abroad who go to places that serve Indian food, Lulu’s Kitchen serves ethnic Naga food, which is not quite available otherwise.
But, people from various places in Belgium are now flocking to her food truck in Genk to get a taste of some tribal cuisine, putting authentic Naga food from India on the world map.
And it seems to be quite the crowd hoarder.
