Sundays earlier meant waking up and stretching out on the sofa to read comic strips, Dennis The Menace among them. The brainchild of Hank Ketcham, the cartoon was very popular when we were kids but slowly lost out to other cartoon strips like Calvin and Hobbes. Its huge popularity gave rise to several movies based on the comic strip. It retains its own nostalgic charm with the little boy’s antics, always reminding us of the child within us.
