No one like to wear whites that are cloudy-colored and stained. Whites are actually more likely to attract stains, right? Luckily there are certain products in your green cleaning stash that can help brighten whites and remove stains naturally. Find out how.

1. Adding ½ cup of vinegar to the wash cycling of your white clothes can help lighten stains and restore the brightness of your clothes.

2. Fill a pot with water and several lemon slices and bring the water to a boil. Fill a tub with the mixture and soak whites that are stained. Keep it for an hour and then wash.

3. Saturate the stain in lemon juice and then sprinkle salt directly on it. Let the mixture react overnight then rinse it with cool water.

4. Drench the stain on your white clothes in vodka and launder as usual.

5. Mix four tablespoons of baking soda with water to form a paste. Scrub the mixture on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes then launder as usual.

6. Pour salt on a freshly acquired stain to absorb the moisture. Then scrape it away and blot the stain with liberal amounts of club soda. Keep it for half an hour and then wash it as usual.
