We all love Bollywood. Growing up, the movies and the amusing plots pulled us into their own worlds and made us daydream about things. Whether it is manifesting the rain dance by Geet and Aditya, dancing in our bedroom while playing Bole Chudiyaan, or mimicking the iconic Poo dialogue, “Kaun hai ye? Jisne dubaara mudke mujhe nahin dekha?“, some Bollywood movies were and still are daal-chawal (the YJHD reference) for us.

So, when I discovered Letterboxd, I started to make my list of the absolute classics of Bollywood and stumbled on the reviews section. For the uninitiated, Letterboxd is a social platform for film enthusiasts to share, rate, and discuss movies, from indie to global blockbusters. It allows you to record and review the movies you watch, much like a film diary. But the actual fun part is the reviews section. The unserious comments are an absolute delight to read, and make you chuckle on their hilarious take on the movie.

So, here is a curation of some Letterboxd reviews of some Bollywood classics for you that will give you a good laugh and motivation to rewatch your favorite movies again.
