The global streaming giant has been getting strong competition from rivals such as Amazon, Disney, and Apple and has been continuously working on to get as many originals content as possible for about 140 million paying accounts worldwide.
Since the release of Stranger Things 3, Netflix’s viewership has been in the Upside Down.
Netflix, in a very rare tweet mentioned that the third season of the supernatural series has been watched by 40.7 million accounts since the day of it’s release on 4th of July. Apparently, this is the highest number of viewership on a Netflix Original series or a movie in its first days.
Reportedly, the entire 8-episode season had been watched by 18.2 million accounts already.
