Stories about the Harry Potter franchise never cease to amaze. For over a decade, the books and the movies took us on a magical trip with our three favourite characters – Harry, Ron and Hermione.
And we cannot imagine these characters without Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
This particular story comes from the sets of Prisoner of Azkaban, the 3rd installment of the franchise.
The director of the movie, Alfonso Cuarón, asked all three of them to write an autobiographical essay on their characters. This exercise, as you can guess, was assigned to gauge how well they understood Harry, Ron & Hermione and help them relate to the characters better.
Daniel turned in a one page composition which was apparently very insightful. This was much like Harry, who wasn’t really involved in studies but did what he could.
Emma, in typical Hermione fashion, gave a 16-page essay. Enough said!
But Rupert took the cake with his submission idea, which was actually not to write it. Yes, he did not turn in anything saying, “I’m Ron. Ron wouldn’t do it!” The director really appreciated this and said that Grint understood his character perfectly.

Moreover, Rupert, who was 15 at the time, was busy with his General Certificate of Secondary Education exams, taken by British students in high school. Emma and Dan are a year or two younger to him as well, so they apparently had more time. But for your epic like-a-boss act here, take a bow, Rupert!
