The Udta Punjab controversy seems to be getting messier by the seconds and now Bollywood fraternity have united to fight against Pahlaj Nihalani who accused the producer of the film, Anurag Kashyap of taking money from Aam Admi Party.
This is not the first time Anurag Kashyap has approached the CBFC and NOT faced problems, it’s something he has dealt with even during the reign of UPA government. His fight has always existed with CBFC and CBFC alone and (from what it looks like) his battle with the organisation won’t end unless he meets a chief who realizes the importance of normalization of contents and artistic freedom.
In a long post on Facebook, Anurag Kashyap wrote about all his films and the kind of problems they faced with the censor board.
