The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from scums and goons from across the galaxy. Our inter-galactic forces are back this time after 6 years in Men in Black: International starring our favourite Asgardians, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. If you’re planning to catch this reboot this weekend, then check out the Twitterati’s reviews before booking your tickets:

#MIB 2.5/5. This movie has really no reason to exist and really serves no purpose other than the sake of keeping the Men in Black franchise going. This does NOT mean this is a bad film by any means but it’s not great either, it just exists. Which is all that can be said really. pic.twitter.com/pyD5h9grGx

Reviews for the new men in black are scathing

Just saw #MenInBlackInternational & really liked it! Much better than all the negative reviews say. It’s a fun movie & I enjoyed it as much as the 1st. Definitely better than the other 2 sequels IMO. The new cast was great & I’d love a sequel. 😎👽🔫#MenInBlack #AgentM #AgentH

Men in Black was a really enjoyable film, ignore the meh rotten tomatoes reviews

The reviews might be bad but I LOVED the new Men in Black movie! They included asexual representation in their lead character! It feels great to be seen by a franchise I grew up with and seen through an actress I love #pride #asexual #ace 🏳️🌈 pic.twitter.com/fNSxMk7hYu

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are in the movie along with Kumail Nanjiani who is the best part and so funny in his role. This is just a bland movie that's boring. If you like previous Men in Black films you'll like this one otherwise I don't recommend seeing it.

The early reviews on #MenInBlack aren’t good but it’s fucking Men in Black what do ppl want from it? #MenInBlackInternational

#MenInBlackInternational starts off okay, but gives up about fifteen minutes in. It mostly just goes through the motions. No witty banter between the 2 leads. Lots of boring filler. There’s one word in particular that’s said so frequently, it could be used as a drinking game. pic.twitter.com/ZRqgYMONGr

Haven’t seen it but strictly from marketing perspective, #MenInBlackInternational has been one of the most underwhelming reboots of a big franchise in a while. Trailers weren’t great and the film’s overall presence has been oddly low. Didn’t even realize it was out this weekend!

#MejahReview: #MenInBlackInternational

Great chemistry between Tessa Thompson & Chris Hemsworth. The dialogue was funny. The CGI were amazing.
The only lacking part was, the connection with the previous trilogy wasn’t that strong. Overall, one hella cool movie.
VERDICT: 8.5/10 pic.twitter.com/OoxFE4XaKq
#MIBInternational Review: There’s great chemistry between Hemsworth and Thompson, but it lacks a good story.

#MIBInternational was subpar at best. The humor fell flat many times and got very predictable. Thompson and Hemsworth are the highlights of the film, but it just felt so bland and generic for an MIB film. Full review will be on my channel tomorrow!

Forget the reviews. I’ve never been a fan of the old series, but #MIBInternational is a fun romp and made me literally laugh out loud enough times I forgave the occasional predictability, which is generally an unforgivable sin in my book. I go to movies to be entertained. And ✅!

Less than stellar reviews be damned. It’s fun, elegant, clever and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Plus, amazing leads @chrishemsworth @TessaThompson_x and Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Rafe Spall… See it! Have fun at the movies! #MIBInternational https://t.co/E4Xa6D45hi

I fell asleep 20 minutes in. I woke up for the final 20 minutes. They were still telling the same joke.
H/t to @AMCTheatres recliners.
