Back in the 90s, Shaktimaan was the only super hero and video games was the only world children wanted to go to. So, let’s not waste our time discussing ‘those were the days’ because I am one those 90s kids and am already winning that particular debate as we talk about the jingles and advertisements of that time. You know, those advertisements were not fillers, some of those actually taught fantastic learnings to children and that too, while having all the fun.
Rewind a bit and hum along through this list of vintage advertisements:

Forget nostalgia for a moment, have you ever prepared Maggi in under 2 minutes? Just saying.

Brings a smile to my face every time I watch this advertisement.
7. Vicks
Remember ‘Vicks ki goli lo, khich khich door karo’?
8. Cadbury Perk
Look at Preity Zinta in this ad. Oh, how time flies!
9. Fevicol
Yeah, you guessed that right. It’s Rajkumar Hirani, the one who directed 3 Idiots.
10. Cadbury Dairy Milk
Agree or not, the magic of Cadbury’s advertisements has still not faded.
11. Dhara cooking oil
This is one of the most heartwarming advertisements I have ever came across. Innocence at its best.
12. Pan Parag
Here we have veteran actors, Shammi Kapoor and Ashok Kumar, keeping alive the freshness of Pan Parag.
13. Pepsi
Caution: This video might make you feel old. Like very old.
14. Amul Operation Flood
‘Piyo glass full doodh doodh doodh doodh…’, apart from Shaktiman, it was only this advertisement which could convince us to drink milk.

This one was revolutionary, undoubtedly.

Who else used to sing this jingle while taking a shower? La lall la laaaaaa…

Who can forget the gorgeous Sonali Bendre from this advertisement?

That one advertisement which made us polish our shoes on time.

This jingle could convince any 90s person to eat eggs and well, it still can. Thanks Devang Patel.

This advertisement can be described as the most heartfelt farewell ever given to a teacher on TV. Can it get any better?
