In a very unfortunate incident, Anton Yelchin, best known for playing Pavel Chekov in the latest set of Star Trek films, died in a freak car accident in his driveway on Sunday morning.
A CNN report said that Yelchin had reportedly walked out of driveway of his home and the tragedy took place when his car slid backwards, pinning him against a brick pillar and security fence.
Elaborating on the incident, a spokesperson from Los Angeles police department said that the body was found by Yelchin’s friends when they reached his home to check on him after the actor had failed to make it to the scheduled rehearsal.
