It’s that time of the year again when all Bollywood fans will tuck themselves in their cozy blankets, stack a steep supply of popcorn and watch award functions every Sunday! Starting January, all major award functions have kick offed and with them starts the month-long Bollywood extravaganza.
However, all that’s going to change now. Bollywood buffs will now be able to watch their favourite celebrities up close and personal as one of the most iconic Bollywood awards – the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards – is going to be a ticketed event this time.
Yes! According to reports, Filmfare has partnered with popular online ticket retailer Book My Show to sell tickets for the exclusive event. Anybody can now go and see the event live and all it takes are a few clicks. However, the grand spectacle won’t come cheap as the ticket prices start from ₹ 10,000 and go as high as ₹ 40,000.
What’s more interesting is that the tickets can be purchased on EMI as well!
Britannia Filmfare Awards are going to be held on January 15 at the Dome, NSCI Mumbai, and will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma.
