American photographer Mark Bennington had come to Mumbai in 2013 for his wedding but ended up starring in a film and photographing some of Bollywood’s biggest names over a year.
The New York-based photographer captured 112 candid moments in his photographic journal titled ‘Living the Dream: The Life of the ‘Bollywood’ Actor’ that has now been published.
Bennington also did short interviews with his subjects which feature alongside the images in the book.
Incidentally, he featured as a Deputy Commissioner in Dibakar Banerjee’s film Byomkesh Bakshi.
He even was a part of ‘The Letters’, a biopic about Mother Teresa.
The book features photographs of some of Bollywood’s biggest stars as they go through their day and often capture moments that are rarely seen in the public.
