Legendary singer Asha Bhosle will soon be immortalised in the form of a wax statue at Madame Tussauds Museum in Delhi.
According to a report filed by the Mumbai Mirror, over 150 specific measurements and images of the 83-year-old singer were taken last year in Mumbai with the team of experts from Madame Tussauds.
The report has quoted Bhosle as saying “I am excited to see and meet my final figure when the attraction opens. Madame Tussauds is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ attraction and is a rage across the world and I am looking forward to the launch and opening in Delhi.”
Earlier this year, playback singer Shreya Ghoshal also became the part of the iconic group which has wax statues of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and American pop diva Lady Gaga.
The exhibit is expected to open soon at Regal cinema in Delhi’s Connaught Place.
