After a concert on June 10, Christina Grimmie, ‘The Voice’ fame singer, was shot dead while she was signing autographs for the crowd at a concert in Orlando. She was 22. The unfortunate news broke our hearts and support from fans and friends has been pouring in ever since.

Amidst that, her former ‘The Voice’ coach, Adam Levine also mourned the singer’s death on social media and has now offered to pay for her funeral as well as her mother’s flight expenses.

Christina’s brother Marcus recently took to Facebook stating:

I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for the funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away.Words cannot express… literally I have no words.

Adam met Christina on ‘The Voice’ and also led her to a third place finish on Season 6 of the NBC competition. Many other artists and fans have mourned the loss of the sensational singer, at such an early age. A GoFundMe campaign was started by Grimmie’s manager to get the family through this pain, to which Marcus said:

I’m so blown away by everything right now. But all I can say is thank you. Christina will be missed and never ever forgotten.
