Penn Masala, the premier Hindi accapella group from the University of Pennsylvania, have just come out with another beautiful track, yet again proving their expertise at mixing Eastern and Western influences in the best way possible. Fans of their music have always appreciated the lush harmonies and intricacies of their song, but they seem to have gone a step further this time.

They recently released a mashup of ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon and ‘Humko Mann Ki Shakti Dena’ as a tribute to the victims of shootings, floods, terror, and everything else the world over. According to these academic crooners, they “wanted to compose a song commemorating the hope and resilience that exists within us all.” Hear it below!
