Pakistan and China recently got together to focus on the development of of their economic corridor. According to Pakistan T oday , the name of said project is, wait for it –
Research and Development International, or RANDI for short.
Now we’re all for the coming together of nations for the betterment of the whole, but in this case, they could have done with a little more thinking and a little less doing.
RANDI (groan) will have two co-chairpersons, Madame Zhao Baige and Senator Mushahid Hussain, and will promote the exchange of data and information among individuals and companies of both nations.
For the uninitiated this is what it means:
“The new think tank is the first joint initiative of China and Pakistan which will be dedicated to research on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,” said Senator Mushahid Hussain, RANDI co-chairperson, according to a press statement issued by the Islamabad office of Pakistan China Institute.
