The makers of Uri: The Surgical Strike recently recently used a unique strategy to avoid piracy. People who pirated a 3.8 gb file of the movie instead got a video asking the viewers to go to the theatres to watch the movie.

Despite this novel move however, the film has leaked online, specifically on TamilRockers.com.

According to Indiatimes, the site is known to be a thorn in the side of Indian cinema, as they tend to pirate new films soon after their release.
